You sing a well known hit over a professional karaoke version, with no original vocals, just the instrumental. I can optimise the track for the group and layer several takes on top of each other for a full choir sound.
A spoken or sung audio message for the bride or groom, which can be played as a surprise at the wedding. It also works perfectly as a solo contribution from the maid of honour or the closest friend.
Some crews arrive with a finished concept, others need the studio atmosphere first to sort their ideas out. Both are fine. I help with the song choice on the day, suggest suitable karaoke versions and find something that matches the mood of the group.

You book studio time and my personal guidance for up to 2 hours. That is a frame you can use to the full if you like, though your crew is just as welcome to wrap up earlier. Minimum booking is 6 people, up to 10 people per crew.

The recording becomes a real CD with an individually designed cover. How many songs end up on it depends on your studio time. A wedding gift you can hold and hand over, printed professionally on the case and on the CD. Two CDs for 70 euros, up to 12 in total, meant for personal, private use only, not for resale. Just let me know and we will see on the day whether there is time left for it.
Ten to twenty photos from the studio or a video recording of the finished song. Both extras are only done after agreeing it with your crew.

When you listen to the recording together after the first take, fits of laughter are guaranteed. Missed notes, wrong words, squeaks, that is exactly what makes the recording real and unforgettable. You hear those laughs on the CD later and they are what make the gift personal.
The shared experience brings the crew together. When you put the CD on again at a reunion in five years, the atmosphere of that hen party day is instantly back. Anchors like that are rare. Most hen party memories have faded after six months.

A little preparation makes the day more relaxed. Here are the most important points.
Weekend slots at the studio are popular, especially in the afternoon and on Saturdays. Look at the availability calendar early and tell me your preferred date, then I will hold it for you. Four to six weeks ahead is ideal, especially with larger crews and a lot of diaries to match up.
Collect ideas within the crew beforehand: which song is “the couple's song”? Is there an inside hit? Should it be funny or emotional? A quick vote in the WhatsApp group is enough. Nothing has to be settled: if the crew has not decided yet, we sort it out on the day, and you can still change your mind and switch songs during the session itself.
If you want to rewrite a hit, it helps to write the words beforehand with two or three of you. Inside stories, nicknames, funny anecdotes, that is what makes the text unique. Feel free to send me the finished lyrics at least three days in advance, then I can match the karaoke version to them perfectly. It is not required, though; we can just as well polish it together in the studio.
Plan the journey together with the crew. The studio is centrally located in the south of Leipzig, two minutes from the S-Bahn. Being on time matters: five minutes beforehand is plenty. If you are arriving as part of a hen party programme, it is worth planning the karaoke bars for afterwards straight away.
I do not serve alcohol myself. Bring your own bottle of sparkling wine for a toast if you like, that is your own call. I provide water. Comfortable clothes or hen party shirts with your crew motto look great in the studio photos. The mood can be lively, just not so much that nobody can sing cleanly any more.

You tell me the size of your crew (6 to 10 people) and any extras you want (CD, photos, video, voucher) and name one or two preferred dates from the availability calendar. I come back to you and confirm the date personally.
At the session I welcome the crew, show you the studio, settle the song choice if it is still open and explain the setup. A short microphone test loosens everyone up, and you all hear yourselves in the headphones for the first time.
Up to three crew members at the microphone at the same time, everyone else can be recorded one after another or layered on top of each other as a choir. Everyone gets their turn at their own pace. If there is still time left in your frame after the first song, you are welcome to try out another idea. The fun and the crew feeling come first.
At the end you listen to the recording together with the crew. I give it the right studio polish so that everything sounds rounded. Then the group photo and designing the cover together. Delivered as a download link, and on request as a CD with an individual cover plus photo and video keepsakes.
My studio is in the south of Leipzig, easy to reach by S-Bahn, tram or car.
Bernhard-Göring-Straße 17, two minutes from Bayerischer Bahnhof. Reachable by tram, S-Bahn and car, with parking nearby, which matters when the crew arrives in several cars.
Karaoke bars, cocktail bars and restaurants are within walking distance or two minutes away by S-Bahn. That is ideal if you want to carry on celebrating straight after the studio session. The city centre and the market square are directly reachable by S-Bahn.
Halle is 35 minutes away by S-Bahn. Many crews from Halle combine the studio session with a day out in Leipzig: the studio, the city centre, karaoke bars, a cocktail lounge.
Leipzig is 1 to 1.5 hours from Berlin, Dresden, Erfurt or Magdeburg. Many bridesmaid crews from Berlin make a hen party weekend of Leipzig, with the studio plus an overnight stay plus karaoke.
From Chemnitz, Zwickau, Jena, Weimar, Cottbus or Potsdam, Leipzig is under two hours away. Crews from three different states regularly combine the studio hen party with a night in the city centre.
Crews from Munich, Cologne, Hamburg or Frankfurt often make a weekend of Leipzig: the studio hen party on Saturday lunchtime, a night in the city centre, breakfast on Sunday. There are hotels five minutes away on foot, and I am happy to recommend some.

Yes. If a song is not working out in the session, you simply switch to another one, as long as your studio time allows.

No, no musical experience needed. Most crews who come to me are hobby singers who otherwise only sing in the shower or at karaoke.
I guide you through the singing, give pointers on breathing and staying in tune, and use clean pitch correction to tidy up small inaccuracies without it sounding artificial. Several takes are normal, and mistakes are not a problem.
