ready to release or what's still needed

It's not whether it sounds good, it's whether it's technically ready.

Your song is fully mixed and mastered and about to be uploaded to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or a label. Before it goes live, I want to rule out technical surprises like being quieter than other songs, distortion, or mono issues.

I measure your file with tools instead of by feel: integrated loudness and true-peak levels checked against the target values of Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, digital clipping and inter-sample peaks, mono compatibility and phase alignment, tonal balance across the full spectrum, plus listening on multiple devices such as studio monitors, headphones, and laptop speakers for clicks or dropouts.

In the end you don't get a wall of text, but a structured written approval report: every checkpoint individually with a measured value or finding, plus a clear overall assessment of whether your song is ready for release or what still needs work. Optionally I add a short video call to discuss the report.

When this fits

Four situations, where the release ready check is exactly right.

You don't need your own studio for this.

Shortly before upload

Your song is about to be released

Before it goes live, a technical error shouldn't only be noticed after release.

Technical peace of mind

You want to avoid surprises

Being quieter than other songs, distortion, or mono issues only become apparent after platform compression.

For a label

You're delivering to a label or distributor

A written approval report with measured values gives a traceable technical quality check.

For several songs

You want a whole album checked

For several songs together, the Album/EP Mastering Package with built-in quality assurance is often the cheaper choice.

Price

One clear price, no surprises.

Optionally extended with a short video call to discuss the report.

Video call discussion

Optionally the report can be discussed together in a short video call.

Good to know

Three things before you order.

Measured, not just felt.

Measured, not felt

Every checkpoint is based on a measured value or a concrete finding, not a general impression.

Pure check, no editing

I check your finished file, I don't remix or remaster it in the process.

For several songs, there's the mastering package

If several songs need to be mastered together, the Album/EP Mastering Package is the right service.
