I listen to your recording several times and notate the melody, chords, or all parts by hand, not automated. For the leadsheet, melody, chord symbols, and lyrics under the melody appear compactly on one or a few pages. For the full piano arrangement, I hear out every part individually and notate both hands separately.
If a passage in your recording is ambiguous, I ask you directly instead of guessing. In the end you get a cleanly typeset PDF sheet ready to print and pass along.
