We design the cover together, and printing is professional, with a case and everything. Two CDs cost 70 euros, and I press up to 12 in total, meant for the private use of the couple and their guests. Whether there is time for it on the wedding day itself is usually decided on site.
If the breathing slips or a note is not quite right, I fix it with pitch correction, a gentle digital adjustment of the pitch, done so carefully nobody notices. Your voice stays your voice. You send me a short enquiry through the contact form: the wedding date, the kind of recording you want and the number of singers. I check your plan and get back to you with a suitable recommendation. Once everything is clear, you get a quote right away.
After your confirmation, I reserve the studio date. You get short pointers on song choice, voice and recording. A call is only needed if the schedule, the song idea or who is singing is still open.
At the session I welcome you, show you the studio and explain the microphone and the setup. Then we warm up, do the first takes and fine tune. I guide you personally, without time pressure. Several people or whole groups are possible too.
After the recording come pitch correction, mix and mastering. I go through the cover design with you. You have the printed CD or the digital download in your hands in good time before the wedding.
Wedding sessions always happen on site, singing together only works in person. My studio is centrally located in the south of Leipzig.
Bernhard-Göring-Straße 17, five minutes on foot from Bayerischer Bahnhof. Reachable by tram, S-Bahn and car, with parking nearby, useful when the wedding party arrives in several cars.
Halle is around 35 minutes away by S-Bahn, and about half an hour by car depending on the time of day. Many couples from Halle combine the studio session with a weekend in Leipzig.
From the area around Leipzig you reach the studio in 15 to 25 minutes. Markkleeberg, Schkeuditz, Taucha, Markranstädt, Borna, Grimma, a good meeting point when the wedding party is spread across the region.
From Chemnitz, Dresden, Jena, Weimar, Erfurt or Magdeburg, Leipzig is under two hours away. A day trip for a wedding studio session works well, often combined with a look around the city.
When the bride's parents from Halle, siblings from Dresden and grandparents from Magdeburg all want to record together, I coordinate a date that works for everyone. Leipzig is easy to reach as a meeting point in central Germany.
