Help with your lyrics is always one fixed session from 3 hours, 270 euros, like a workshop. I read your text closely and mark specific places. Then we develop alternatives together: rhymes, images or a different narrative voice. For another text, you simply book another session.

Every genre has its own rules. What lands in pop fails in rap. Here are the six main genres the lyric help covers.
Rhythmic language, laconic punchlines
Rock and indie lyrics live on rhythmic language and sharp, concise lines. Common weakness: too lyrical, too few concrete scenes. I work on tightening and on closing lines that stay with you.
Rhyme structures, flow, punchlines
Rap lyrics need good rhymes, a flow that sits on the beat, and strong punchlines. Common weakness: the rhymes are there but the flow stumbles. That is what we sharpen together.
Rhythm without melody, a clear message
Slam texts have to carry without a melody. A text that works on stage can look thin on paper. I look at what it needs for both forms.
English to German, without stiffness
A German cover of an English hit, or the other way round. The text must stay singable in the new language without losing its meaning. This is the hardest task in lyric work.
A thread across several texts
If your EP or album lyrics work individually but do not add up together, we work across several sessions on recurring motifs and a shared thread.

Private duo for songwriting pairs
Do you write as a pair, with a partner, bandmate or co-writer? Then you book the session in the private duo format, for about 50 % more. Both bring their perspective, and I mediate between the writing styles.

Texts are read with a voice in mind
Anyone who only reads lyrics misses the places where singing stumbles. I read every text several times, aloud and quietly, with a possible melody in my head. That is how I catch lines that look good but do not run rhythmically, or vowels on the wrong stressed syllable. That is the key difference from pure editing.
Honest notes instead of comfortable praise
Writing forums are often a bubble where everyone agrees with everyone. AI tools smooth everything out. Here you get specific notes on what does not work and why. Honest, but constructive. Your text gets better, not just more agreeable.
Genre understanding instead of all-purpose editing
A pop chorus follows different rules from a rap verse. All-purpose editing misses that. Here your text is judged by the rules of its own genre, so the notes actually fit.

The complete text
All verses, chorus and bridge
Send your text as Word, PDF or plain text, complete with all verses, chorus, bridge and outro. Even loose passages are better included. That way I can also see the connections between the parts.

A specific request
What is not working?
Write briefly what you want: "the bridge does not work", "the chorus does not land", or "I want an honest overall critique". The clearer the request, the more precise the notes. No specific question is fine too.

An audio demo, if you have one
How do you sound singing or rapping it?
If a demo exists, even a voice memo, send it along. It helps me hear your style and tailor suggestions to your voice. Without a demo I work on the text alone, with one it fits even better.

Which artists are your reference points?
Name one to three artists or songs you orient by, not to copy, just as a comparison. That tells me which style your text should work in.

What is the text for later?
Will it be recorded, released, performed at a slam, or stay in a drawer? That decides where the notes should focus.

Stay open to uncomfortable notes
Passages that do not work, images you use too often: that is not a judgement of you, it is help for the text. Staying open to it is how you get the most out of the session.

Enquiry & sending the text
By email you briefly describe what you need and send the text with all verses, chorus and bridge, optionally a demo and one to three style references. The session from 3 hours can be booked directly in the studio shop.

A first pass with comments
I read your text several times, mark specific places and write an overall assessment with the key points. That is the basis for the session.

Working together in the session
The full 3 hours by Zoom, Teams or on site. We go through the notes and develop alternatives for the weak spots. You leave with concrete directions or finished solutions.

Rewriting & finishing
You rework your text at home. Once you are happy, the work is done, or we agree another session for the next text.

Appointments on site in Zentrum-Süd
Songwriters from Connewitz, Südvorstadt, Schleußig, Plagwitz and Lindenau often combine the lyric session with a recording on the same day: session in the morning, recording in the afternoon.
Leipzig north
Online makes more sense than travelling in
For songwriters from Gohlis, Eutritzsch, Möckern or Wahren the journey is rarely worth it for a lyric session alone. Online by Zoom with a shared screen works better for lyrics than any version on site.
Halle and around
From Halle (Saale) and the surrounding area
Halle, Merseburg, Schkeuditz: on site makes sense combined with a studio recording, otherwise online is more efficient. Halle has an active spoken word scene, many slam artists book several sessions in a row for their next set.
Saxony
From the Leipzig region and Saxony
From Borna, Grimma, Wurzen, Torgau, Riesa, Chemnitz and Dresden, lyric help mostly runs online, ideal for several texts or a whole EP concept. On site when a recording is planned anyway.
Online, anywhere in Germany
By Zoom or Teams from anywhere in Germany
Songwriters from Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hanover and Bremen almost always book online. The session works just as well at full distance. No travelling.
