If the recording has to fit a fixed date for the celebration, an early enquiry makes sense. Tell me the date, the occasion and the time frame you have in mind, so that I can judge what is realistically possible and when the finished recording is needed.

Describe briefly what it is about
Write me a short note about whether it is a birthday, a milestone birthday, a wedding anniversary, a club anniversary, a company anniversary or another celebration. The number of people, the form of handover, the date of the party and whether the recording is to be played live all matter too.

Collecting words, lyrics or ideas
A finished text helps but is not required. A few notes, inside jokes, memories, names, song requests or personal thoughts are often enough to work with. From there we can carry on calmly on the day, without everything having to be perfect beforehand.

The studio is centrally located in the south of Leipzig, two minutes from the S-Bahn. Allow enough time for the journey and for arriving. With groups or guests coming from several households in particular, a calm start matters.

Agreeing the process and the scope
Once everything is clear, you get a fitting recommendation or a quote. A longer conversation is only needed if important details are still open or if several people have to be coordinated. That keeps the path simple for you and easy for me to plan.

Recording in the studio
In the studio I record speech, singing or several contributions one after another, calmly. I give pointers on expression, distance, emphasis and timing, so that the recording feels natural.

Editing and handover
After that I edit the recording cleanly, match the levels and export the agreed files. On request there is also a CD with a personal cover and a fitting dedication.
