I am a pianist and studio owner. I have a piano of my own that is over 100 years old and play it regularly. That helps me take your piano seriously and judge it honestly. For repairs, voicing or complete regulation, I refer you to a piano building workshop.
A tuning check starts at a guide price of 130 euros. A detailed piano tuning note by note starts at a guide price of 350 euros, travel within the city of Leipzig included. Extra work on heavily out of tune pianos starts at a guide price of 400 euros, or 70 euros an hour. If the pitch has dropped a lot, several appointments may be needed. I go through that with you beforehand.

After a large pitch change, the instrument can settle further. A second tuning after a few weeks can make sense.
With regular care you get to know your piano better and notice sooner when it needs attention again.
The more you tell me, the better I can judge the work beforehand. The final assessment always happens on site.
If you know it, please tell me. With old pianos a photo of the interior helps. If you don't know, a short description with photos is enough.
The age helps with the assessment, especially with heirlooms or long unplayed pianos.
A year ago, five years ago, twenty years ago, or never? The longer ago, the more likely extra work becomes.
Tell me your preferred pitch. 440 Hz is the usual concert pitch, 442 Hz sounds brighter, 432 Hz softer. I check on site what is possible.
A living room, cellar or teaching room makes a difference. Heated air and humidity affect the tuning.
Tell me if individual notes stand out, the whole piano feels out of tune, or the bass sounds weak. The more precise, the better my assessment.

You get a suggested date, likely level of service, guide price and any travel cost. The final assessment happens at the appointment.
I listen to your piano first, then tune it at the agreed level. With a detailed tuning I work note by note and check the result at the end.
Afterwards you get a short assessment and a sensible date for the next tuning. The invoice follows the agreed guide price or the actual work.
I tune acoustic pianos on site, because the room climate and location affect the tuning.
Travel within the city of Leipzig is included in the guide price for the detailed tuning and extra work.
For these places there is an individual travel charge, which I tell you before the appointment.

I play individual notes, chords and short musical passagesso that I can judge the sound, the response and anything that stands out.
Then the tuning work begins at the agreed level of service.
After the tuning I play again and check whether the result holds together musically.
That keeps the work easy to follow.
